My friend Liz and I are SUPER excited to share our little Christmas project, “Cozy Christmas!” with you!
We would like to dedicate it to our friend Danielle who inspired us to get into the studio and do something Christmassy this year! Thanks for the nudge, Danielle! We had a blast in our good friend Dan’s studio and wished we had time that day to make a whole Christmas ALBUM! Now we have a fun goal for next year!
This project is really special to us because we wanted to be ourselves and sing some songs that felt meaningful to us. We had one opportunity to make it happen before Christmas, and just mere days before we recorded these, I COMPLETELY lost my voice from sickness. I was bumming big time, but I’m so thankful it came back enough to accomplish the coffeehouse vibe we were planning for. We had an absolute blast, and we hope you can enjoy these while we’re wrapping presents, sitting by the fire or just enjoying a moment of stillness during a busy season.
